Michigan, USA - Michigan Chaldeans will be holding a peace rally on June 30, 2007 in hopes of drawing attention to the persecution of Middle Eastern Christians.  This Saturday from 5 to 7 PM Chaldeans along with those opposed to the persecution and war in Iraq gather together to voice their concerns at the Southfield Civic Center in Southfield, Michigan.

Rally supporters are asked to wear red to symbolize the innocent blood being shed by men, women, and children being persecuted for their religion. Rally speakers include many leading community leaders and activists, political leaders, and supporters of religious freedoms and democracy.

The rally demonstration is open to everyone wishing to show their support and solidarity.  Busses and car pool meetings are being held at community centers, churches, and parks.
