Chaldean Church Sports Leage Basketball 2009 Season Announced

Team registration officially opens on October 1, 2008.  Church CCSL coordinators will have three months to hold draft picks and recruit coaching staff if necessary.

Talks with the CCSL commissioner, league board, and church coordinators continue over adding more league divisions.  Suggestions have been made to CCSL leaders to add additional divisions including young adults ages 19 - 35 years along with possibly a senior division (36 years of age and older).  The suggestion was made to address the phenomenal explosion of interested players fighting to compete and demonstrate their talent as the best basketball players in the Chaldean community.

CCSL leaders announce that registration will once again be conducted entirely online.  Chaldean athletes who feel they have the necessary skills to win their church the highly regarded trophy need only prove it on the court.

Each championship team has every team player engraved on the league trophy that remains at the winning church for one year.  Each year an additional plate is added creating a legacy of church athletic champions.
