Michigan, USA - One of the best DJ artists, David Boji, 28, has helped amplify the nightlife scene for metro Detroiters.  “If you are ever in a mood for a good party, the nightlife scene in Detroit is something to brag about because of him,” says Janel Ashtari  from Warren.   “He really knows how to make a party happen.  He is super talented and an incredible promoter."

Along with his many accomplishments, in 2008, Boji opened up for hip-hop star Flo Rida at Acapulco, Mexico, in front of over 4,500 screaming spring breakers.   Later that year, he opened up for a sold-out Detroit stadium of over 21,000 fans for “The New Kids On The Block Reunion Tour.”

He later joined Channel 955’s Bomb Squad, an exclusive 5-member group of top mix-show DJs that infiltrate the air waves of Metro Detroit. It is at Channel 955 that David B developed his loyal following as he launched his “Ministry of House” movement.  Over the following 4 years, he went on to open up for myriad A-List artists, including Pitbull, David Guetta, Steve Angello of The Swedish House Mafia, Nadia Ali, Black Eyed Peas, Jason DeRulo, Iyaz, Taio Cruz, Big Boi of Outkast, Fabolous, & Monica.

Boji is also founder and CEO of D. David B's creative ingenuity has served as a platform for Detroit’s most formidable productions, including the renowned “Ultra Cruise Festival™ Summer Series” on-board Detroit's largest commercial yacht.

"I love almost all genres of music, but house music has a special place in my heart," says Boji, who grew up in Southfield and lives in Ferndale. "When it comes to house music, everyone seems to love it. It is a universally adored sound that one can't help but embrace when it is being played in the right atmosphere."

In 2011 David B traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic where he opened up for LMFAO and also shared the stage with Deej Tommy Dee from Boston and rocked the first annual “Freedom Music Festival” on the gorgeous Caribbean Beach in front of over 3,000 spring breakers.   The ball kept rolling in 2012 as David B traveled to Cancun, Mexico, Nassau, Bahamas, and Panama City Beach, Florida for the official “Ministry of House Tour,” dropping sets at some of the most renowned nightclubs on the planet and opening up for the Manufactured Superstars and EC Twins at the Dayglow Concerts in Panama City Beach, Florida.

"I hope this doesn't sound cheesy, but the No. 1 undisputed favorite part of my job is bringing happiness to the crowd," says Boji, who began DJing when he was 15. "I needed an outlet for my passion of music and I was always very inspired by the mix show radio DJs in Detroit when I was growing up.  Boji goes on to say,  “There is no way to duplicate the feeling I get on stage when I look into the crowd and see people grooving, smiling and laughing as one in pure happiness and bliss."

David Boji graduated from Northwood Univeristy in 2005 with a BBA in Marketing and Management. D. Mix Entertainment started off as a high-end entertainment company during its inception in 1999. David’s goal was to provide an incomparable show at a very competitive and fair price. Nine years later, he has successfully given hundreds of satisfied customers just that through his vision and commitment to excellence.  As Boji expanded his business into the Detroit nightlife scene he again saw a need for change and improvement.  His extravagant, swanky venues of choice and unique party themes make upscale nightlife and socializing both fresh and exciting.  People know what to expect when they show up for a D. Mix Entertainment event and that has made all the difference.
